Lambert and Crow will perform Lynn's classic signature song, "Coal Miner's Daughter."</p>
<p>Hosted by&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Brad Paisley</span></strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Carrie Underwood</span></strong>, "The 44th Annual CMA Awards" airs live from the Bridgestone Arena in&nbsp;<span class="xn-location">Nashville</span>,&nbsp;<span style="text-decoration: underline;"><span class="xn-chron">Wednesday, Nov. 10</span></span><span class="xn-chron">&nbsp;</span>(<span class="xn-chron">8:00-11:00 PM/ET</span>) on the ABC Television Network. Previously announced performers include&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Dierks Bentley</span>,&nbsp;<span class="xn-person">Kenny Chesney</span>, Lady Antebellum,&nbsp;</strong>Lambert, Paisley,&nbsp;<strong>Rascal Flatts, Reba,&nbsp;<span class="xn-person">Blake Shelton</span></strong>,&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">George Strait</span>,</strong><strong>Sugarland,</strong>&nbsp;Underwood,&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Keith Urban</span></strong>, and the pairing of&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Zac Brown Band</span></strong>&nbsp;with&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Alan Jackson</span></strong>.</p>
<p>Crow has received two CMA nominations thus far in her career. The first was in 2003 for Vocal Event of the Year for her duet with&nbsp;<strong>Kid Rock</strong>&nbsp;on "Picture." Her second nomination came in 2006 for Musical Event of the Year for her performance with&nbsp;<strong>Brooks &amp; Dunn</strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Vince Gill</span></strong>&nbsp;on "Building Bridges." Crow's current album is&nbsp;100 Miles From Memphis.</p>
<p>Lambert, the top nominee for 2010 with nine nominations, also achieved the most nominations of any female artist in CMA Awards history. She received nominations for Entertainer; Female Vocalist; Album for&nbsp;Revolution,&nbsp;produced by&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Frank Liddell</span></strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Mike Wrucke</span></strong>; two for Single, "The House That Built Me" and "White Liar"; Song for "White Liar," which she wrote with&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Natalie Hemby</span></strong>; Musical Event for "Bad Angel" with Bentley and&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Jamey Johnson</span></strong>; and two for Music Video of the Year for "The House That Built Me," directed by&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Trey Fanjoy</span></strong>, and "White Liar," directed by&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Chris Hicky</span></strong>.</p>
<p>In 1972, Lynn became the first woman to be voted CMA Entertainer of the Year. She has won a total of eight CMA Awards, including three wins as Female Vocalist (1967, 1972, 1973) and four consecutive wins with duet partner&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Conway Twitty</span></strong>&nbsp;for Vocal Duo of the Year (1972-1975). In recognition of the 50th anniversary of Lynn's first single "I'm A Honky Tonk Girl," Columbia Nashville will release&nbsp;Coal Miner's Daughter: A Tribute to&nbsp;<span class="xn-person">Loretta Lynn</span>&nbsp;on&nbsp;<span class="xn-chron">Nov. 9</span>. The new album features performances of Lynn's classic songs by Crow, Jackson, Lambert, Reba, Underwood, and more artists from a variety of genres.</p>

Faced with insurmountable odds, the small beachside communities of&nbsp;<span class="xn-location">Gulf Shores</span>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<span class="xn-location">Orange Beach, Alabama</span>&nbsp;came up with a unique concept to bring tourists back - book music superstars to perform beachside concerts. &nbsp;This past weekend, tens of thousands of tourists headed to the beaches in&nbsp;<span class="xn-location">Gulf Shores, Alabama</span>&nbsp;for two Concerts for the Coast featuring&nbsp;<strong>Bon Jovi</strong>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Brad Paisley</span></strong>.</p>
<p>"It just goes to show you just how resilient the people of this coast are and how tough they are," said&nbsp;<span class="xn-person">Jon Bon Jovi</span>&nbsp;during his Friday night Concert for the Coast.</p>
<p>"It's been 6 months since the tragedy and here we are with a beach that does not look the least bit worse for wear. It's really beautiful and pristine," said country music star&nbsp;<span class="xn-person">Brad Paisley</span>&nbsp;on Sunday.</p>
<p>Over 60,000 music fans gathered early Friday and Sunday to enjoy the beautiful weather and clean beaches. &nbsp;It was a win-win for fans, the economy, local residents and businesses. Visitors from as far as&nbsp;<span class="xn-location">Hawaii</span>&nbsp;and<span class="xn-location">Holland</span>&nbsp;showed up early for both events to witness the Thunder on the Gulf powerboat races, swim in the ocean, build sand castles and dine in beachside taverns and seafood restaurants.</p>
<p>"We're here to let everybody know that the Gulf Coast is open for business," Paisley said from the stage. "I would encourage everybody to get down here as quick as they can."</p>
<p>The Concerts for the Coast series kicked-off with&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Jimmy Buffett</span></strong>&nbsp;&amp; Friends: Live from The Gulf Coast on July 11th.&nbsp; The event hosted 35,000 fans on&nbsp;<span class="xn-location">Gulf Shores</span>' public beach and aired live on CMT.&nbsp;On&nbsp;<span class="xn-chron">October 30th</span>, Concerts for the Coast will celebrate their last event of 2010 with an exciting performance from&nbsp;<strong><span class="xn-person">Alan Jackson</span></strong>&nbsp;at The Wharf in&nbsp;<span class="xn-location">Orange Beach, Alabama</span>.</p>

<li>Entitled &lsquo;2 Minute Silence&rsquo; the single, in the form of a silent video, features top UK celebrities who have donated their time to The Royal British Legion.</li>
<li>All proceeds of single go to helping Serving and ex-Service members of the Armed Forces community.</li>
</ul>
<p>Sunday 17th&nbsp;October: The Prime Minister, Thom Yorke and Mark Ronson are amongst a host of celebrities featuring in a single to be released by the official charity of remembrance, The Royal British Legion, on 7th&nbsp;November.</p>
<p>For just 99p the UK public can show their respect, support and thanks to those armed forces personnel who have made sacrifices for us all. The &lsquo;2 Minute Silence&rsquo; single will be available for download on iTunes from Sunday 7th November.</p>
<p>In addition to celebrities and sports stars, the silent single features ex-service personnel, including Corporal Simon Brown, who was shot in the face by a sniper in Iraq, and commented:</p>
<p>&ldquo;The Legion, for me has been a massive support...When I got home after Iraq, they offered me a lifeline and gave me the confidence to go out there and be part of society.&rdquo;</p>
<p>Funds raised through the sale of this single will go towards helping individuals, like Corporal Brown, within the Serving and ex-Service Armed Forces community.</p>
<p>The Royal British Legion wanted to create a unique and engaging way for the British public to show their support, as noted by The Royal British Legion&rsquo;s Director General, Chris Simpkins:</p>
<p>&ldquo;We invite the public to join the celebrities and soldiers in observing two minutes&rsquo; silence and we would encourage everyone to show their support by downloading the track from i-Tunes on 7th November. Rather than record a song, we felt the UK public would recognise the poignancy of silence and its clear association with remembrance.&rdquo;</p>

<p>Every single page of JAY-Z's book will be released to the public before the book is in stores, with pages physically placed in locations related to&nbsp;their&nbsp;specific content. The immersive journey will take players from&nbsp;the projects in the Brooklyn&nbsp;neighborhood&nbsp;where JAY-Z grew up and the London streets where he found inspiration to the building of his empire in&nbsp;<span class="xn-location" style="font-family: Helvetica, Arial, sans-serif;">Manhattan</span>&nbsp;and beyond. Fans physically in those locations and those playing online with Bing will be offered never-before-experienced insights into JAY-Z's highly personal process.&nbsp;In addition to high-profile media placements around the world,&nbsp;all 300 pages of "DECODED" will be appearing in places and on objects that have never before been used as advertising.&nbsp;From pools and&nbsp;pool tables to bronze plaques and high-fashion clothing racks,&nbsp;a variety of unexpected surfaces will become the canvas for JAY-Z's art.</p>
<p>And it will be up to fans to decide how to find these pages using Bing. Online, fans will find a one-of-a-kind search experience built on Bing technologies and will be able to walk the streets that JAY-Z walked and use Bing to search and decide how to decode his life and lyrics at every turn. The immersive online experience utilizes multiple facets of Bing, including Bing Maps and Bing Entertainment, to give fans full access to the stories behind JAY-Z's songs. Over the course of a month, fans will come together as a community to compile&nbsp;"DECODED" online before it hits bookshelves. &nbsp;</p>
