Collabro end Ed Sheeran’s Albums Chart reign

Collabro claim this week’s No.1 album, putting an end to Ed Sheeran’s eight week reign at the top.

The musical theatre five-piece, who won this year’s 'Britain’s Got Talent', have topped the Official Albums Chart with their debut collection 'Stars'.

In an interview with Official Charts, the group said:

“Seven months ago we didn't know each other and just three months ago we were still in our day jobs, so our lives have been flipped upside down and now we have an album out on an amazing record label! We are so grateful for the whole experience and to our fans for getting us here.”

Meanwhile, Manchester band The Courteeners win their highest charting album to date with 'Concrete Love', which debuts at No.3, and George Ezra climbs a place to complete the Top 5 with 'Wanted On Voyage'.

Glaswegian rockers Twin Atlantic also score their highest charting record to date at No.6 with 'Great Divide', and Kasabian’s '48:13:00' climbs 12 places this week to No.11.

Wiz Khalifa is new at No.27 with 'Blacc Hollywood', Kate Bush’s 'Hounds Of Love' enters at No.29, and Imogen Heap’s 4th studio album, 'Sparks', debuts at No.40.
