Kylie Minogue says that she was only joking when she recently talked about the possibility of returning to Neighbours. 

Minogue's comments led to the executive producer of the Australian soap, Susan Bower, saying that Ramsay Street would welcome her back "with open arms".

However, when asked by Access Hollywood whether she will be back in Erinsborough, the popstar replied with obvious amuse, "I can't believe this is still going! I think this might've come about because someone asked me in an interview, 'Would you ever go back?' And I was like, 'I think that time passed,' but I just was making a joke saying, 'Can you imagine if Charlene (came back to) Ramsay Street in the mini that she left in 20 years ago.'"
