Shakira has spoken to YouTube about her upcoming bilingual album 'Sale El Sol', revealing that her new LP will have "a strong rock side", as well as "romantic" and "Latino" songs.

"I'm very excited about the new album, because it reminds me of different eras and stages of my career. It's like a synthesis of all these 20 years," she gushed. "It's been quite interesting to make this album, I've been reconnecting to myself."

Speaking about her most recent record, the Colombian born singer said that her favourite song was 'Men in this Town', which she was disappointed didn't become a single.

'Sale El Sol' is schedule to be released this autumn.
