Lady GaGa has apparently explained why she is holding back her next album.

The singer previously said that she had written the LP's lead single in Liverpool. 

She has now revealed that the record will be delayed until next year because she wants to spend more time doing interviews and appearances, have time to complete the 'Monster Ball' tour and to take some well-earned rest.
