Kele Okereke announces US tour

Bloc Party's Kele Okereke has announced details of his rescheduled debut solo tour of North America.

The tour, which is set to begin later this month in Chicago will now start in Washington, DC on September 2, before concluding in Los Angeles on September 21.

Okereke is playing in support of his debut solo album, 'The Boxer', which was released last month.

The Bloc Party frontman has finally confessed that his songs are autobiographical and says that writing is a form of therapy. His writing has alluded to violence in 'Where Is Home?', singing "I want to stamp on the face of every young policeman/To break the fingers of every old judge/ To cut off the feet of every ballerina."
