My Chemical Romance finish LP

My Chemical Romance have finished recording their new album - the follow-up to 2006's, 'The Black Parade.'

"We just finished the album so we're excited about that. It's the second attempt at the album and we're really happy with it," frontman Gerard Way explained.

The as-yet untitled album could include a number of songs such as 'Bullet Proof Heart' - which references The Killers' 'Jenny Was A Friend Of Mine', 'Black Dragon Fighting Society' and 'Light Behind Your Eyes.'

"People just wanna fucking rock," Way exclaimed. "I don't know that people want to make statements right now. I can't comment on anybody else's record but I certainly feel something in the air, like, people just want the truth and they don't need a big story."

The release date for the band's fourth studio effort is yet to be announced.
