Cheryl Cole officially divorced today

X Factor judge and Girls Aloud band member Cheryl Cole has officially ended her marriage to estranged husband Ashley Cole today.

It marks an end to the troubled four-year marriage, which collapsed after the England footballer was accused of cheating on his wife.

The couple's divorce was completed at the High Court at 10:00 am this morning.

The pair separated in February and would have finalised things in July, but Cheryl fell ill with malaria.

The star's case has been listed as CAC v AC (their initials).
