Diana Vickers has announced the date her new single will premiere.

The song, called 'My Wicked Heart', will have its debut play at 8:00 pm on September 12.

Vickers took to Twitter to make the announcement, saying, "I can not WAIT till all of you hear 'my wicked heart' remember radio 1 this sunday 8pm tune in!!!"

The track has been described as "Florence (and the Machine) doing 'Under The Bridge' via 'Crazy Chick' with some big brassy other things thrown in. It is a little bit bonkers and quite a lot amazing".

'My Wicked Heart' is released on November 7 and trailers a new edition of her debut LP, 'Songs From The Tainted Cherry Tree'.
