Rihanna samples Lavigne on LP

Rihanna is set to sample the vocals of Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne on her upcoming album, 'Loud'.

The R&B singer has taken a clip of Lavigne's 2001 worldwide hit, 'I'm With You', and used the words on her own new track, 'Cheers'. The song features the lyrics: "Everybody put your glasses up / Cheers to the freakin' weekend / I drink to that / Everybody put your glasses up / Don’t let the b**tards get you down / Drinks on my mind and my mind on my money."

The 'Rude Boy' singer has also collaborated with Nicki Minaj on her new album, which promises to be "sassy, fun, flirty [and] energetic".

The track 'S&M' is reportedly "the naughtiest song of all". It features the lyrics: "I may be bad but I'm perfectly good / There's sex in the air / I don't care / I love the smell of it / Sticks and stones may break my bones but chains and whips excite me."

Rihanna's LP, 'Loud', is out in November.
