Daniella Westbrook on CBB Housemate Christopher Maloney

Danniella Westbrook has spoken exclusively to The Sun about why she and X Factor contestant, Christopher Maloney, fell out. The two former friends were reunited on Channel 5's Celebrity Big Brother yesterday (January 5).

Westbook told The Sun prior to the show:

"I've heard that one person is going in that I don't have anything to do with any more.

"Chris - Chris Maloney, we used to be very good friends.

"I had a lot of issues with the guy I used to go out with after my marriage split up. I've got restraining orders and stuff.

"He's due to come out on bail today, they're waiting until I get into the house to release him.

"The whole time through this Chris and I were very good friends, we did panto together and Chris was sending him all the messages that I was sending to him and giving him my phone number.

"I had a breakdown.

"I thought Chris was supposed to be my friend.

"It made it very hard for me."

Westbrook feels she will be able to cope on the CBB show as she has spoken to the programmes psychologist before going in and will have contact with him whenever she needs it, she said:

"I'll see him throughout the week, every week. But at the end of the day I do have bipolar and borderline personality disorders which are all down to my past as well. They're aware I take a lot of medication for that, I might be a bit slurry in the morning."

Maloney spoke to Channel 5 about how his friendship with Westbrook, ended. In a VT recorded ahead of the programme, Maloney did not disclose what led to the rift but simply said: 'It ended nastily on her part."

Speaking to show host, Emma Willis, prior to entering the house, former EastEnders actress, Westbrook said:

"I don’t talk to Chris. It’s not tricky for me at all – I shall be polite for the sake of the show. I’m not going to get into the reasons of why we don’t talk.

"But I’m not interested or getting into an argument. If he tries to start an argument I’ll say 'I’m not interested, I know what you’re trying to do, I’m going for a cigarette'.

"I won’t be bullied into trying to talk about something or trying to make the peace."

The 42-year-old continued:

"I’ll say to him "I will get on with you, we can have a really good laugh while we’re in the house, because we’ve got to live together.

"At the end of the day it’s not the time and the place to discuss things. I would never make it awkward for anybody else, that’s the worst thing somebody could do."

Other CBB Housemates include Stephanie Davis who spoke about her relationship with Zayn Malik before entering the House.
