Cheryl Cole has confirmed that she is set to perform on 'The X Factor' this month on October 24.

The 27-year-old Girls Aloud member and X Factor judge will step away from the panel and take to the stage to sing her new single, "Promise This" live on the results episode of the show.

The singer will be working with choreographer Fatima Robinson, who she collaborated with on the music video for the track.

This week Cole announced the full tracklisting for her forthcoming second album, 'Messy Little Raindrops', which will be released on November 1.

"Promise This" is the first track off the LP and is set to be released on October 25.
