Eminem: 'No swearing' in my house

American rapper Eminem has revealed in an interview that there is no swearing in his house.

“I’m a parent. I have daughters,” he explained. “I mean, how would I really sound, as a person walking around my house saying: ‘Bitch, pick this up,’ you know what I mean? ... I don’t cuss.”

Asked by CBS’s Anderson Cooper whether he felt a sense of responsibility for his lyrics, the 8-mile star replied, “I feel like it’s your job to parent them. If you’re a parent, be a parent.”

After delivering his lesson in parental responsibility Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers, gave Anderson a master class in rhyming, using the word ‘orange’.

The interview will be played on CBS’s ’60 Minutes’ on Sunday October 10.
