Ex-Culture Club star, Boy George, has revealed that he has written to the troubled Wham! front man whilst he’s in prison.

The two fell out years ago over a gay insult but appear to have buried the hatchet.

“I’ve written to him. I send him my love and I understand exactly what he’s going through,” said Boy George, real name George O’Dowd. “When I heard the news, it really brought it all back to me.”

Michael was released today after serving half his sentence for a drug driving offence.
