Nadine Coyle has revealed that only Nicola Roberts out of her Girls Aloud bandmates has encouraged Coyle on her solo career. She believes her other bandmates were too “busy” to get in touch.

Speaking to Hello, Coyle said: "I was talking to Nicola. She said, 'Congratulations,' and 'That's lovely.' It was really nice to hear from her. But I think everybody [else] has been so busy. I've been finishing work so late; my eyes have been banging together."

The “Insatiable” star also spoke about her engagement to American football player Jason Bell, saying that she “expected it”.

She said: "He was talking about it for a while; I knew he was dropping hints."
