Velvet Revolver back in action

It’s been two-and-a-half years since Scott Weiland quit Velvet Revolver but the super-group is now finally looking for his replacement.

“VR is back together jamming, trying out singers. No updates yet. But it’s great to hook up with Duff, Matt & Dave after all this time,” Slash said in a blog on his MySpace page.

Weiland announced his departure from Velvet Revolver in April 2008 and has since designed a clothing line, Weiland For English Laundry, with Cristopher Wicks.

“I'll keep you posted on any interesting developments from those sessions as they happen. The creative juices are definitely flowing. I’m positive something awesome is going to surface soon,” Slash added.
