Republican, John Kasich, who is the governor of Ohio, and currently competitng against Donald Trump and Ted Cruz for the top spot in his political party, hopes that promising to reunite the legendary band, Pink Floyd, will help him win the election.

Speaking to CNN, Kasich said that seeing Pink Floyd's The Wall tour in Pittsburgh, was his favourite gig of all time, and he praised Roger Waters as an "incredible artist."

He said: "If I’m president, I am going to once and for all try to reunite Pink Floyd to come together and play a couple of songs. And since we have so much trouble in America with our finances, I’m going to start with a little song they created called ‘Money'."
