Former ‘X Factor’ winner Shayne Ward has confirmed five new tracks set to feature on his forthcoming record ‘Obsession’ at a playback event in London.

The ‘No Promises’ singer played new material ranging from danceable cuts such as ‘Someone Like You’, which samples the Spin Doctors song ‘Two Princes’, to ballad ‘Close to Close’. He also played ‘Gotta Be Somebody’, which will be the lead single from the new LP.

Speaking after the event, Ward gave further details of the new album: “I’ve recorded about seven albums’ worth of tracks, some of which were with Taio Cruz, RedOne and Darkchild which didn’t even make the album.”

‘Gotta Be Somebody’ is out on 7 November. Watch the video below:
