250,000 fans contribute to Johnny Cash music video

Over 250,000 people across 172 countries have contributed to a global art collaboration to produce a music video for Johnny Cash’s last studio recording, ‘Ain’t No Grave’.

Director Chris Milk created the video, and users are invited to use a single frame from the video as a template and draw their own portrait of Cash on top.

The result is a living portrait of Cash, which continually changes as people add their creation to the project.
