Atlanta rapper Gucci Mane has been arrested in his hometown for multiple traffic infractions.

The Atlanta Journal reports that police had to subdue the rapper (real name Radric Davis) with pepper spray before arresting him.

Davis was charged with driving on the wrong side of the road, damage to Government property, running a red light, no licence, and other charges.

The news comes just six months after Davis was released from prison for violating his parole. He has also previously served stints for drug and assault charges.

The rapper’s album ‘The Appeal: Georgia’s Most Wanted’ debuted in the US Billboard chart at no.4 last month.
