Winehouse label a success

Lioness Records, the label set up by Amy Winehouse, is already proving a success.

Winehouse's musical venture has so far made a profit of $66,000 (£42,000) in its first year of business.

The 'Rehab' star set up the company in 2009 to launch the singing career of her goddaughter, 14-year-old Dionne Bromfield. She released her debut LP, 'Introducing Dionne Bromfield', last year.

Winehouse herself is signed to Island Records and is set to release her third album soon.

"It's going to be very much the same as my second album, where there's a lot of jukebox stuff," she revealed in July this year.
