Ice Cube and Dr. Dre will not face charges regarding the death of actor Terry Carter who was killed when he was allegedly run over by Suge Knight.

Carter was killed on the set of a promo shoot for 'Straight Outta Compton' in 2015.

Dr. Dre and Ice Cube were named in the wrongful death lawsuit issued by Carter's family alongside Suge Knight but a judge removed their names yesterday (October 7).

Carter's family named Dr. Dre and Ice Cube because they had hired gang members as on site security rather than professional security guards. They felt that two of the gang members were responsible for the death even though one (Cle 'Bone' Sloane) was himself injured in the hit and run.

Knight is in prison for murder charges. Recently Eminem's bodyguard revealed that Knight tried to have Eminem killed at an awards show. 

Knight is currently suing Chris Brown for not having proper security at a nightclub in which Knight got shot. Knight blames this incident for the reason he ran Carter over.
