Strictly Come Dancing pays tribute to Pete Burns

Strictly Come Dancing paid tribute to the late Pete Burns this evening (October 29) with a group dance to Dead or Alive's 'You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)'.

Although the dance routine was planned for several weeks, the BBC One show decided to dedicate the routine to Burns.

The show tweeted:

'Tonight's group dance is to the track You Spin Me Round by Dead or Alive.

This routine has been in the planning for months, and with the tragic news this week of Pete Burns' untimely death, we couldn't think of a better way to honour his name - and this brilliant track - than to make it the most spectacular Halloween Special group dance in the show's history. We hope you all enjoy it.

'Thanks Peter for the wonderful music.'

Dead or Alive's flamboyant frontman died of a heart attack this week.
