Fifth Harmony do first mag interview as a foursome

It's been a full-on week for Fifth Harmony this week.

The girls first took to the stage of Dancing With the Stars to perform in support of their bandmate Normani Kordei on Monday night (April 10), and then on Wednesday (April 12), graced the cover of Galore magazine and gave their first magazine interview as a foursome since Camila Cabello's departure.

The group donned an array of various outfits for the magazine shoot, including: sports bras, fishnet stockings, and sky-high platform combat boots, as well as opening up about boys, their new album and being "in sync." They said:

"The four of us are really in sync with each other. We’re pretty open about most things. We try to respect each other as much as we can."

Ally Brooke admitted: "For us, communication is really important."

"We compliment each other a lot," nodded Kordei.

Lauren Jauregui added: "It’s so important. I feel like especially being around other girls, it’s really easy to start picking yourself apart and being like, 'Wow, she looks better than me'.

"Giving each other that energy changes the whole vibe of whatever we’re doing. If it’s a carpet or a shoot, you can feel in the pictures that we were all complimenting each other and we all felt good.

"Dealing with boys isn't always so easy. They’re either super not the right guy, or dope as f**k. There’s no in between. They’re either trying to get something out of you, or they think you’re super dope."

Dinah Jane revealed: "There was this one guy who thought I was very intimidating because of who we are.

"My thing is, when I come across somebody, when I think they’re super cute or handsome, I can’t play along with that because sometimes they take it as something like, 'She wants me.'

And it’s happened to me many times. When you’re trying to be kind to somebody and they take it as, 'Dang, Dinah Jane likes me.' And I’m like, 'No, I just want to be your friend… like, why do you have to take it like that?'"

Kordei shared: "For me, it’s kind of the opposite, 'cause I feel like, in a way, I can be so intimidating with me not even knowing it, and then the guy doesn’t call you and you’re like, 'I’m cute! Come to me. Come here.' And then it’s like, 'Is there something wrong with me?'"

"It’s hard," Jane agrees. "So all we want is a confident dude to come straight up… maybe. Just walk up and say, 'Hey, what’s up?' and start from there."

Fifth Harmony also spoke about their upcoming new music as a foursome: "(Our next album) will have some R&B tones," Jane said.

"I think we low key have (already left a legacy)," said Jauregui. "We’ve made an impressionable mark as far as girl groups go in the industry. I’m proud of us."

Meanwhile, Camila Cabello gave her first solo magazine interview in February, when she revealed that she was excited to "be brave and open my soul" with her new music.
