Queen + Adam Lambert have announced further live plans for 2017

Weeks after announcing a 26-date summer tour of North America, Queen + Adam Lambert have delighted Glamberts by revealing further live plans this week for 2017.

The stars are due to return to Europe later this year for a series of 24 dates, including a special show at the Sheffield Arena on December 8.

They have also revealed their tour will showcase a spectacular new stage production and set list.

These shows mark the band’s first full British tour since January 2015. Their only UK appearance last year was a one-off headlining set on the closing night of the Isle of Wight Festival. Isle of Wight festival organizer John Giddings said the band were “the greatest show we have ever had”.

Guitarist Brian May said: “The general public knows the hits, so you've got to cater for that... but we can chuck in a few things that people really don't expect.

"There are so many dimensions to Adam... you have all those dimensions, and we can explore that even more.”

Adam Lambert said: “Obviously we will still be playing the big hit songs you know and love from Queen, but we thought it would be good to challenge ourselves a bit.

"Change it up a little bit, change the visuals, change all the technology, change the set list to some degree. We will probably be pulling some other songs out of the Queen catalogue which we haven’t done before, which I am very excited about.”

Tickets for the Sheffield Arena show on December 8th went on sale yesterday (April 21), and you can order tickets from their website at here.
