The Lord of the Rings actor, Andy Serkis, appeared on 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert' and was given a couple of tweets by Trump to read out in Gollum's voice (see below).

Serkis donned a Gollum pose as he crouched with his feet on the chair and read out:

"The fake news media has never been so wrong, or so dirty. Purposely incorrect stories and phony sources to meet their agenda of hate. Sad.”

Serkis is currently doing a US promo tour for 'War For The Planet Of The Apes'. The film is on general realease now in the UK. The film opens in the US at 7 PM  today (July 13) in 3,000-plus locations before going wide Friday (July 14).
