Monday, October 2, 2017 10:22am by Pressparty At least 58 dead and 515 injured after masacre in Las VegasUpdated since release this morning: At least 58 people have died and over 500 hundred have been injured after a gunman opened fire during the sold out Route 91 Harvest Festival in Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas yesterday (October 1). The massacre started during Jason Aldean's set at the country music event which was attended by 40,000 people. The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police have since confirmed that the gunman was local. He has been shot dead but police are currently searching for his female "companion". The Route 91 Harvest Festival is a three-day event which started on September 29 on the Vegas Strip, bringing country music into the soul of the city.
