Megastar Camilla Cabello kicks off this year with a spectacular January

Camila Cabello's first month of 2018 has been a busy but already successful one.

The young star, who is currently on a promo trip in Japan, kicked off the New Year's Eve celebrations by performing "Havana" in New York's Time Square for Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest.

On January 9 it was revealed that she had achieved an incredible 7th week at the top of the US pop radio charts.

On January 12 she released her debut solo self-titled album, which zoomed straight into the No. 1 spot in the Billboard 200 and Hot 100 on January 22, catapulting her into the same league as Beyoncé

The achievement became a hat-trick when she was also named No. 1 in the Artist 100 chart, resulting in Billboard calling her the top U.S. musical act for the very first time. A feat only ever accomplished before by British artist, Adele

She then performed together with Kesha, Cyndi Lauper, Andra Day and Julia Michaels at the prestigious GRAMMYs in New York on January 28 where she also introduced rock gods, U2. Her Grammy appearance made her the most tweeted about star of the night.

She even received her own Twitter emoji.

In March she may win an iHeartRadio Music Award for Best Solo Breakout (vote here).

Let's see what the rest of 2018 will bring the rising superstar.
