Pop star Lily Allen has been announced as this year's headliner for The Mighty Hoopla festival in London.

The renowned British singer-songwriter is now back with a new single, ‘Trigger Bang,’ featuring UK rapper, Giggs. Her highly anticipated follow-up to 2014’s ‘Sheezus’ is titled ‘No Shame,’ and is slated for release sometime this year in the summer.

Allen's first mainstream single, "Smile", reached number one on the UK Singles Chart in July 2006. Her debut record, "Alright, Still", sold over 2.6 million copies worldwide and brought the star a nomination at the Grammy Awards, Brit Awards and MTV Video Music Awards.

Also joining the chart-topping star at the upcoming pop extravaganza are: Belinda Carlisle, Melanie C, Vengaboys, B*Witched, Glitterbox, The Glory, Pandora, MNEK, Goldierocks, Louisa Johnson and Old Dirty Brasstards, with many other acts still to be confirmed.

The UK festival is due to take place on Sunday, June 3, at Brockwell Park.
