Slash praises “resilient” Japanese

Guitar hero Slash has come out in praise of survivors of Japan’s recent earthquake and tsunami, calling them “resilient.”

The Velvet Revolver axe man performed in Osaka just days after the natural disasters occurred.

“It's displaced so many people, not to mention claiming so many lives, and it's really tragic,” he tells the new issue of Kerrang!, adding, “I honestly feel that the Japanese are so f**king resilient that they'll get through it, but, God, what a painful experience for everybody.”
