CELEBRATE GIO-GOI GLASGOW STORE OPENING WITH FREE GIG AT STEREO

SEE THE SUBWAYS COMEBACK GIG AND THE YOUNG AVIATORS ON WEDNESDAY JUNE 1ST

To celebrate the opening of the new Gio-Goi store on Buchanan Street, music and fashion fans in Glasgow are being given chance to get their hands on free tickets to a one-off launch party featuring The Subways and Young Aviators at Stereo on Wednesday June 1st 2011.

Gio-Goi, the fashion forward brand has teamed up with Clash Magazine to host the stylish event. Three-piece alternative rock band, The Subways, will be making their long-awaited comeback at the event. After 2005’s Young For Eternity and 2008’s All or Nothing albums, the band are back to showcase tracks from their forthcoming new third release in their only Scottish gig of the summer.

Young Aviators will also be appearing at the Gio-Goi night. The three-piece who live in Glasgow will perform their unique brand of indie-grunge-disco to make it a night to remember at Stereo.

Worn by rock royalty, Gio-Goi is the fashion brand that key figureheads in both music and media actively seek out. Born out of the Manchester Hacienda club scene in the early 90s, Gio-Goi is now worn by the likes of Plan B, and DeadmAu5.

The brand has also recently collaborated with Chase & Status on their hit video for Blind Faith, as well as working with Tiesto on his latest video Beautiful World.

A limited amount of free tickets are up for grabs to the classic night of rock’n’roll. Those lucky enough to bag one will mingle with the crowds, have their first drink for free courtesy of Gio-Goi and enjoy exclusive live performances from The Subways and Young Aviators. Clash Magazine’s quality DJ’s will also be spinning the tunes into the night.

Visit http://www.gio-goi.com/secretglasgowgig to enter the free prize draw for tickets. Deadline for entries is Monday 30th May at midnight and successful entrants will be informed on Tuesday 31st May. Winners will need to the Gio-Goi store by 5pm on June 1st to pick up their wristbands.
