China's Ministry of Culture have banned six songs by Lady Gaga, 'The Edge of Glory', 'Hair', 'Marry the Night', Americano', 'Bloody Mary' and 'Judas'.

The tracks must be removed from all Chinese websites by September 15.

Songs such as Backstreet Boys' ' I Want It That Way', and Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night' have also been blacklisted by the strict communist authorities. 

China has described the songs as containing 'vulgar content'.
