Dappy is No. 1

Dappy's 'No Regrets' has entered The Official UK Top 40 Singles Chart with his first single 'No Regrets'.

The N-Dubz star told Radio 1's Reggie Yates that he will be celebrating with a massive party tonight and has invited lots of other chart stars to it.

'No Regrets' is the title track of Dappy's forthcoming album.

Earlier this year, Dappy -whose real name is Dino Contostavlos - told Radio 1's Newsbeat that he would be "devastated" if 'No Regrets' did not reach No. 1:

"I've been waiting for this moment all my life. I want it to be one of the best records that comes out this year."

Dappy has pushed One Direction's debut single, 'What Makes You Beautiful', down to No. 3.

The other new entries are Jason Derulo's 'It Girl' (No.4), James Morrison's 'I Won't Let You Go' (No. 5), and Nicola Roberts' 'Lucky Day' (No. 40).

Damien Rice's 'Cannonball' has climbed to No. 9, after re-entering the charts last week. The song was covered on X Factor by Welsh maths teacher, John Adams.
