Pressparty are proud to announce that vocal powerhouse, Adam Lambert, has WON the honour of 2012's King & Queen Award!

Our King & Queen annual poll gives YOU a chance to vote for who you believe is set to dominate and rule this year's music industry, rather than follow the usual route of music critics' analysis. 

On hearing the news that he's been crowned, Lambert has issued the following statement to us:

"I'm thrilled to be counted as a king by my fans. The Glamberts and Pressparty are truly royalty!"

The 'Better Than I Know Myself' singer swept the boards in the awards this year! His hotly anticipated upcoming album, 'Trespassing', is scheduled for release this March, instigating his faithful fans to vote Adam the King AND the Queen!

His most recent appearance at the MTV EMA's grand finalé, which featured the velvet-throated superstar stepping into the hallowed shoes of Freddie Mercury to perform alongside the remaining members of Queen, also helped him return to the public domain and win new fans. 

One Glambert, Hilde Marie Grensbraten, said on voting: "Adam Lambert for KING (or QUEEN...or both) - he's proved his musical ability with his new single and the coming album is going to be the highlight of 2012. Besides this, Adam has used his fame/name to assist several charities with huge success. He IS a KING :)"

Another, Sue Leonard McGee, commented: "Adam Lambert for sure. He is a king of the music world, but as he said after his performance with QUEEN, he will always be a queen!"
