Ed Sheeran bounces back up to No 1 in the albums chart

Ed Sheeran's the new number one in the UK albums chart with '+', his debut album which was released 15 weeks ago.

Sheeran tweeted: "My album '+' is number one in the UK album charts again. I couldnt ask for a better start to a new year, thank you all so much...this wouldn't have happened without you lot, give yaselfs a pat on the back *pat pat pat*."

Elsewhere in the singles chart, Bruno Mars' 'Doo Wops & Hooligans' climbed to number 2 after 51 weeks in the charts. Last week, Pressparty announced that this album was the fourth biggest-selling albums of 2011 with 1,170,000 copies sold.

There was only one new entry in the albums chart, and that was Foo Fighters' 'Wasting Light' in at number 39.
