Continuing to expand both its developing and established artist roster, one year old independent music publisher and artist representation company 401K Music Inc is proud to announce the addition of both The Thompson Twins and Drug Cabin to its select client list.

As one of the most successful artists of the 80's, The Thompson Twins wrote and recorded hit after worldwide hit, including "Hold Me Now", "In The Name Of Love", "You Take Me Up" , "King For A Day", and "Doctor Doctor" selling millions of records. To give you an idea of just how big they were, Madonna joined them on stage for Live Aid!

"I was very keen to work with Tom & Alannah as I think their songwriting was, and is, incredible. You see a Thompson Twins song title and you immediately can sing it - the songs are that memorable. I would love to help introduce their music to a whole new generation of music fans and build value in their catalog." enthuses Veronica Gretton, 401K's founder (pictured above). 

Drug Cabin is a new band featuring Nathan Thelen of Pretty Girls Make Graves and Marcus Congleton of Ambulance Ltd., two highly revered alternative bands. "They are in the very early stages of their career so we are providing the resources and money for recording, marketing, promotion, PR and touring to establish them and their music, and lay the foundation for a successful career together."

"I fell in love with their song called 'Barracuda', something about it drew me in, its a really unique and compelling track." Says Gretton "and then I saw them play at the Troubadour in LA and was blown away, they look and sound great, and musically are a breath of fresh air - a modern day Simon & Garfunkel meets Bon Iver. Thanks to our efforts, music supervisors and radio are already embracing their self released debut EP so they are well on their way to getting the attention they deserve."

401K Music launched last year as an independent, full service, bespoke music publishing & rights company with a dedication to individual career attention and development, and a commitment to protect their Writers long-term assets (thus the name 401K Music).
