Moscow Youth Cult return with Phase V

Moscow Youth Cult return with more glitch-soaked doctrine from the digital ecclesia with Phase IV - a dark & driving homage to Saul Bass' vision of a world ruled by hyper-intelligent ants - and marks the electronica duo's first single from their forthcoming debut album, Happiness Machines.

The accompanying video pays tribute to the band’s appreciation of cinematography and grainy aesthetics - after all Phase IV is named after a dystopian B-scale masterpiece of suspense.

Soon-to-be-released, Happiness Machines is MYC's first full-length release and combines the finest in dark pop songs with TV static and machine samples to create a lo-fi psychedelic adventure into obscurantist electronic processing, intricate beats and abstract lyrics which form revenant, VHS-inspired soundscapes.
