Janet Jackson says she'll make more albums

Janet Jackson has insisted that she is still planning to release more music.

The singer, who recently denied speculation that she is working on a new album, said that she intends to record one in the future. "I read somewhere that I'm not planning to make more albums; that's not true," she told USA Today. "I love singing and performing too much to give them up. Right now I've got a couple more films I may do, and the festival. Then I'll figure out whether to go with a major or do something more independent."

The 43-year-old, who debuts the video for her single 'Nothing' from her new film Why Did I Get Married? today, admitted that she drew on her own experiences for the role. "I've been married twice and divorced twice. I know what it feels like to go through that," she said.
