Jackson's doctor hits court

Michael Jackson's physician must wait until June 14 to learn when his involuntary manslaughter trial will begin.

Dr. Conrad Murray, who stands accused of administering the drugs that killed the King of Pop last June in 2009, was in court yesterday (April 5) for a pre-trial hearing. He was met by protesting Jackson fans and members of the late star's family - Janet and Jermaine Jackson joined their mother Katherine in court for the proceedings.

Murray learned top judge Michael Pastor will oversee the trial. He will set a date for a preliminary hearing in June.

The doctor has denied any wrongdoing and has pleaded not guilty to involuntary manslaughter in the death of Jackson.
