Adam Lambert says GaGa is a genius

Adam Lambert has dubbed Lady GaGa a "genius".

Last year's American Idol runner-up, who recently confirmed that he will mentor the final eight on next week's show, said that GaGa makes "really good pop music. When I’m on stage I’m not thinking about the outside world; I’m in my own little special dimension. Lady GaGa is a perfect example of that, and she’s a genius. If you look at GaGa’s music, sonically it’s straight ahead really, really good pop music with a dance beat and great production." He continued, "The songs have great hooks and beats to dance to, and her lyrics get you thinking. As she’s written a lot of these songs it gives her the credibility that you need as a popstar these days, but it’s her visual that makes her stand out."

Lambert, who releases his debut album 'For Your Entertainment' in the UK later this year, revealed that GaGa has also penned a track on the LP. "GaGa wrote a track on my album called 'Fever' and I love, love, love it as it’s one of the most fun tracks to perform live," he said. "If we release it as a single it would be great to get her in the video with me. We’d make our own new dance moves too.
