One Direction's 'Story of My Life' music video accidentally leaks

One Direction have announced that they are to release their full music video for their newest single, 'Story of My Life', tomorrow (November 3). However, a clip has unexpectedly surfaced onto the web 48 hours earlier then scheduled, after VEVO accidentally published it. As a display of support to the band, Pressparty will not be publishing it.

In the video, band members Harry Styles, Liam Payne, Zayn Malik, Louis Tomlinson and Niall Horan are seen developing old photos of themselves and their loved ones. In their childhood photos, Payne is posing with his family at his home and Styles is sitting next to his mother.

Malik is seen joining his sister in his bedroom, while Horan pretends to be performing at a gig with his brother. Tomlinson is photographed with both his late grandparents.

The video's early release has received mixed reactions from 1Directioners. Some excited fans re-recorded the video before VEVO took it down. Meanwhile, others were annoyed because they hoped to break the VEVO record of the most-viewed video in 24 hours. Miley Cyrus currently holds the title for her "Wrecking Ball" clip, which accumulated 19 million views in a single day, after it was released in September this year.

'Story of My Life' is the second single off the boybands' upcoming 'Midnight Memories' album. Their third studio album is scheduled for release on November 25.
