Mitch Winehouse has revealed that he had a break-down after writing a book about his late daughter Amy.

The taxi driver wrote a book about Amy Winehouse following her death a year ago today (July 23).

Speaking to BBC Newsbeat, Mitch Winehouse said that he had a break-down when he read the pages through after penning it. He said:

"When I had to read it back for edits and mistakes I had a mini break-down. I found it far worse reading it back."

Winehouse also praised the work of the Amy Winehouse Foundation, which helps people with addictions. He added:

"This is the power of positivity. Look at what we've achieved in less than a year. Even within the space of nine months since we created the foundation, Amy's waving her magic wand up in heaven and we're getting stuff done."
