Unheard Amy Winehouse song discovered by father

An unheard Amy Winehouse track has been found her father Mitch.

The singer passed away in 2009 in her Camden house after drinking too much alcohol.

Speaking to the Daily Star, the 'Back to Black' star's father Mitch Winehouse said that he came across a previously unheard Amy song when recording his own album. He said:

"The guy engineering it pressed the button on some old tapes in the studio and there was Amy singing this great song nobody had heard before."

The news comes as Camden celebrates Amy Winehouse's 30th birthday with a series of events through the month of September.

A Winehouse themed exhibition at Proud Galleries in the North London area meanwhile has been launched as part of the project.
