We are thrilled to announce that Flashpoint Festival is set to take place this summer within the grounds of Rockingham Castle. The first of its kind, the weekend will host an array of seminal artists, meaning there will be something there for everyone.

The line up so far includes: Deacon Blue, Marc Almond, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, ABC, Hue & Cry, KT Tunstall, Clem Curtis & The Foundations, plus DJ Trevor Nelson who will be hosting an opening party for the festival on the Friday night.

After hosting the highly successful Flashback Festival last year at Rockingham, UK Events decided that this stunning venue would be the perfect location for their new weekend event Flashpoint Festival. With a wealth of experience behind them, this is the 8th consecutive year that UK Events will be putting on a highly sought after festival, and this time with the natural progression to something else new and fresh.

The opening party on the Friday night will be exclusively for weekend ticket holders only, and so for the full Flashpoint experience people can stay over the whole weekend. There is a range of camping options available with standard camping, VIP camping & campervan, and caravan camping. For those taking little ones they will be kept busy and entertained all weekend with plenty to see and do within the kids area, and for anyone who likes to dress up the theme of the weekend will be Rockstars & Popstars.

There will be a vintage style fun fair for all ages, and for festival goers who want to party into the early hours they can also book tickets for the Silent Disco which kicks off at 11:00pm and goes on through to 2:00am.

The festival also offers a range of stalls on site providing merchandise & glitter face painting. Own food and drink will not be allowed on site, but there is a wide variety of food stalls and bars including Terrys Real Ale bar for the perfect pint, and a cocktail bar.

Flashpoint Festival- Rockingham will take place between the 14th and 16th July 2017 so add the dates into your festival calendar as this is a weekend not to be missed!
