We are delighted to confirm that Annie Lennox will be performing at this years Cinema Against Aids Gala in Cannes.

President Bill Clinton will be the honored guest at the sixteenth annual Cinema Against AIDS event, to be presented by Bold Films, The Weinstein Company, and Palisades Tartan on May 21, 2009, during the Cannes International Film Festival.

President Clinton, whose work against HIV/AIDS has helped millions of people around the world, will deliver remarks during the evening’s program. The gala will include a formal dinner, along with a world-renowned live auction, all to benefit amfAR, The Foundation for AIDS Research. Harvey Weinstein and Sharon Stone, tireless advocates for AIDS research and for amfAR, will help conduct the highly anticipated live auction with the assistance of several of the event chairs and other celebrities in attendance.  And celebrated recording artist Annie Lennox will sing a number of her hits in a special performance.
