Arctic Monkeys say there's "no rush" to put out a new album

The Arctic Monkeys have revealed that they don't know when their next album is likely to be released as they're not putting pressure on themselves to create anything new right now.

The band's frontman Alex Turner told Radio X recently that they won't be rushing out a new album anytime soon and instead prefer it to just happen organically:

"No, there aren’t really, Not yet. But there will be at some point. I mean, we’ll see with that. No rush."

Turner also spoke about The Last Shadow Puppets and confessed that they will part ways once festival season ends: "The plan was to end [The Last Shadow Puppets] at the end of the summer, and I think we’ll stick to that."
