Grammy nominated and multimillion selling three-piece Paramore are able to announce today that they will be returning to the UK and Ireland to play 6 shows in September 2013.  This will follow the band’s appearance at this year’s Radio 1 Big Weekend in Londonderry/Derry at the end of May.

Paramore are set to release the single Still Into You on May 20th, this is the follow-up single to Radio 1 A-listed Now and is taken from their self-titled fourth, number one album which is out now.  The video for Still into You has already had over 9 million views on YouTube, and the band performed the song on both Graham Norton and Radio 1’s Live Lounge in April.

Jake Nava is an award-winning music video and film director who has worked with the likes of the Rolling Stones, Kylie, Alicia Keys, Kanye West and Beyoncé, including the ‘Crazy In Love’ and ‘Single Ladies (Put A Ring On It)’ videos.
 
Originally recorded by 70’s soul singer Minnie Ripperton, ‘Inside My Love’ is Delilah’s own spin on the popular classic, ‘Two People.’ It is co-produced by Delilah and Mikey J and is released on 16th July through Atlantic Records to coincide with the release of her debut album, From The Roots Up, which follows two weeks later. Also on the upcoming album will be her previous three singles, ‘Go’, ‘Love You So’ and ‘Breathe.’ From the Roots Up is an extremely personal record, with every song on the 12-track album written or co-written by Delilah. Together with her close-knit team of producers (Science, Ballistiq and LV), Delilah created the album's fundamental sound: dark, sparse, percussive, full of tiny details magnified by the acres of space surrounding them, all framing Delilah's own signature emotive voice as she sings about "love, lust, passion, and falling in and out of them all".
 
Parisian-born, London-raised Delilah’s debut single ‘Go’ became a surprise runaway hit scoring her a top 20 hit and a permanence on the Radio 1 & 1Xtra airwaves. Later singles such as ‘Love You So’ and ‘Breathe’ demonstrate the quality and sonic variety of her much anticipated debut LP.
 
Her first sold-out UK tour in May received amazing reviews in the broadsheets, resulting in the musical icon Prince personally inviting Delilah to support him on tour in Australia.
 
Following last weekend’s performances at Lovebox and Parklife, Delilah continues her run at all the big UK festivals this summer with slots at Wireless, Bestival, and BBC Radio 1’s Hackney Big Weekend. Album – “Some Nights” set for release on 28 May

SXSW Appearance confirmed

 This is no average story…this band are 2012’s phenomenon. fun. are set to release their breakthrough single “We Are Young (Feat. Janelle Monae)” on 14 May, followed quickly by their sophomore album “Some Nights” on 28 May. 

In the last month this band has been literally catapulted into the limelight and into the #3 spot in the Billboard Charts and #2 in the iTunes charts off the back of a Chevrolet Chevy Sonic Super Bowl ad. This is something that Jack Antonoff (guitar, trumpet), Andrew Dost (vocals, piano, guitar, bass, keyboards) and Nate Ruess (lead vocals) never imagined was possible. They knew this song was special but suddenly the whole of America were singing it…. and buying it, with sales surpassing 600,000 and the official video reaching over 10.9 million views! In the UK they’re already making in roads at radio having been added to the Capital FM playlist 10 weeks upfront (the last act to do this was Bruno Mars).

Collaborator, Janelle Monáe, who has nothing but the highest praise for her tourmates, hailed the band as "incredible musicians.” “Nate Ruess’ voice is legendary,” Monáe added. “Their music is special. To watch fun. is to perhaps watch the renaissance of Queen mixed with their own fresh approach to music.” 

fun. began in 2008 when Nate Ruess teamed up with Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff to meld an array of diverse inspirations into their own irresistible and freewheeling pop songcraft. The band drew immediate attention for their contemporary rethinking of classic 70’s pop, where ornate arrangements and inspired orchestrations meet present-day rock ‘n’ roll. They decided to raise the stakes with “Some Nights” by teaming with noted producer Jeff Bhasker (Kanye West, Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Beyonce, Drake). 

The band and Bhasker have worked to evolve the idiosyncratic fun. sound by marrying their robust melodies with elements of hip-hop. Having just been released in the States, “Some Nights” debuted at #3 in the Billboard Top 200 selling over 70,000 in its first week and this week is on track to be the No. 1 album. It has been receiving critical acclaim across the board and last week the guys had their first Billboard cover and it definitely won’t be their last. 

They have become a household name overnight and now it’s time for them to show the UK just why.

Following the release of his quadruple platinum-selling album The Defamation of Strickland Banks, the Brit Award-winning artist PLAN B (AKA Ben Drew) has today announced details of his forthcoming album iLL Manors, which is set for release through Atlantic Records on Monday, May 7th. 

Plan B commented, ‘You could call iLL Manors bass-line, soul, hip-hop. The album has the lyrical depth of my first record but the musical composition is light years ahead as it's informed by everything I've learnt in the last five years - writing, producing and playing with a live band. I feel I'm better than I've ever been.’

The album will be preceded by the theatrical release of the accompanying full length motion picture ‘iLL Manors’. The film will be released on Friday, May 4th and is written and directed by Plan B.

North London sensation Delilah has unveiled a free downloadable mixtape entitled ‘2 - 4am’ from her official website delilahofficial.co.uk. The mixtape features eight tracks, including Joe Goddard’s fantastic remix of ‘Love You So’, as well as some previously unreleased material. It also includes ‘Never Be Another One’, which is currently playlisted on 1Xtra, where she’s included in their ones to watch in 2012 artists. The mixtape gives fans an early taster of what can be expected from her forthcoming debut album, ‘From the Roots Up’, out this summer through Atlantic Records.

Delilah recently supported Emeli Sandé at London’s KOKO as part of MTV’s ‘Brand New for 2012’ initiative and is set to headline London’s Garage on February 29 for HMV’s ‘Next Big Thing’. 

Having already released her debut smash ‘Go’ (a reworking of Chaka Kahn’s ‘Ain’t Nobody’, which has now sold over 150,000 copies) and the up-beat ‘Love You So’ (produced by Ballistiq Beats and Delilah herself), the 21-year-old is set to take 2012 by storm with her debut album ‘From The Roots Up’, set for release summer 2012. 

Delilah – born Paloma Stoecker in Paris in 1990 – spent the majority of last year touring the country with Chase and Status and more recently, Maverick Sabre. The singing sensation has received over five million hits on her official YouTube channel to date and has gained support from major radio stations across the UK, including a fantastic tip in 1Xtra’s ‘Hot for 2012’ list.

DEBUT ALBUM TO COME IN MARCH 2012

HOXTON BAR AND GRILL HEADLINE SHOW NOW SOLD OUT

Delilah has just been announced as one of the ten finalists in MTV’s “Brand New For 2012” list, which showcases the best new up-and-coming UK and international artists. Previous finalists have included the likes of Jessie J, Tinie Tempah and Wretch 32. More info on MTV.co.uk.

She has also now been confirmed for HMV’s “Next Big Thing” festival, which takes at nine venues across the UK from 2nd – 12th February.

Following the release of her runaway debut smash ‘Go’ (which has currently sold over 140,000 copies), Delilah recently announced the release her follow-up single, ‘Love You So’, set for release on December 19th through Atlantic Records.

Produced by new UK dubstep talent Ballistiq Beats and Delilah herself, ‘Love You So’ will provide a further introduction to one of 2012’s most exciting new stars. Available as an EP, the package will include the single along with new tracks ‘Mean To Me’ and ‘I’ll Be Waiting’, as well as remixes from Joe Goddard and Lenzman.

After spending the majority of the year touring with Chase and Status and more recently Maverick Sabre, Delilah appeared at the 1Xtra Live event in Bristol at the end of November with Chase & Status, Ms Dynamite, Benga and Youngman.

She also has one final sold-out headline show at Hoxton Bar and Kitchen on December 6th.

Delilah’s first single ‘Go’ gained initial support from 1Xtra DJs Mistajam and Twin B (Record of the Week), then went on to be A-listed at Radio 1, where it was also chosen as Sara Cox’s Record of the Week.  ‘Love You So’ is following suit and this week has moved up to Radio 1’s B-list. The ‘Love You So’ video has now launched (watch it here). Her YouTube channel has had more than 3 million views in total now.

She is currently putting the finishing touches to her debut album, which will be released in March 2012.

‘COLOURS’ – OUT 20 FEBRUARY

Canvasback Music/Atlantic Records artists Grouplove have announced details of a UK headline tour for February 2012, which will be followed by a string of European shows. The band will also release “Colours” on 20 February 2012, the next single to be taken from their critically acclaimed debut album, Never Trust A Happy Song.

The nine-date tour will commence on 16 February at Brighton’s Haunt taking in York, Sheffield, Manchester, Glasgow, Liverpool, Middlesborough, Birmingham and concluding with London on 28 February at the Garage. Last time the band played London they brought the house down at XOYO.

Since the release of their debut album Never Trust A Happy Song, Grouplove have had consistent radio support from the likes of Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Nick Grimshaw and Fearne Cotton. The LA based quintet have also performed a BBC Introducing Session for Huw Stephens as well as being a firm favourite with BBC 6music’s Lauren Laverne. The band have also received heavy rotation on their five singles which have been playlisted at 6music and XFM. 

On the other side of the pond, Grouplove recently performed on the influential David Letterman television show in the US. 

In addition, one of the band’s previous singles, “Tongue Tied,” will be featured in the new global Apple iPod Touch TV ad which airs in the UK from 7th December.

 “ROOMS FILLED WITH LIGHT” ARRIVES IN FEBRUARY 2012

Having earned international acclaim for their 2009 debut, “RESERVOIR,” Canvasback Music/Atlantic recording group Fanfarlo have announced the upcoming release of their eagerly awaited new album.  “ROOMS FILLED WITH LIGHT” is released on February 28, 2012.

The album is heralded by the new track, “Deconstruction,” which is out now. It is accompanied by the London-based band’s own 15-minute “meditation” on the song’s musical components and what happens if the song just continues, entitled “Reconstruction.” NPR just debuted “Deconstruction” as its influential “Song of the Day,” hailing the uplifting track for “pack(ing) an awful lot of winning ingredients into a little less than five minutes… Next year is only minus-three months old, and this is already one of 2012’s best songs.”

What’s more, Stereogum recently premiered the “Deconstruction” companion video, directed by filmmaker Alex Southam. The inventive black-and-white clip is streaming now at Fanfarlo’s own newly relaunched www.fanfarlo.com.

Fanfarlo are set to introduce fans to the songs of “ROOMS FILLED WITH LIGHT” a newly announced London show - Cargo on 21st Nov. 

“ROOMS FILLED WITH LIGHT” marks a major step forward for Fanfarlo, incorporating new textures into their already eclectic sonic palette.  Songs such as “Replicate” – available now for free download at www.fanfarlo.com – feature more experimental instrumentation than those found on the band’s debut.  The guitars are now electric instead of acoustic, while synths and samplers have emerged in place of mandolins and glockenspiels. At the same time, “ROOMS FILLED WITH LIGHT” takes all the themes, musical and lyrical, of its predecessor and vastly expands them with all the confidence of a band gaining control of their aims and abilities.

“To me the record is really about what a weird and intense experience it is to just be alive and to try to make sense of the modern world with all its bewildering pressures and possibilities,” says singer/main songwriter Simon Balthazar.

“We wanted to figure out what new things were possible with the tools we were using,” adds violinist/keyboardist Cathy Lucas. “This time there is more of an emphasis on patterns, repetition and hypnotic atmospheres.  We were trying to achieve more light and dark, while maintaining the subtlety and elegance.”

“ROOMS FILLED WITH LIGHT” was produced by Ben Allen (Animal Collective, Deerhunter, Gnarls Barkley) and engineered by award-winning producer/engineer David Wrench (Bat For Lashes, Everything Everything, Beth Orton) at North Wales’ Bryn Derwen Recording Studio.

BRUNO MARS NEW SINGLE “IT WILL RAIN” ANNOUNCED 

ALBUM OUT 7 NOVEMBER

Summit Entertainment, Chop Shop Records and Atlantic Records have announced the release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, the musical companion to the highly anticipated fourth installment in Summit's worldwide blockbuster film franchise. The soundtrack is highlighted by the forthcoming new single, “It Will Rain,” from Atlantic/Elektra Records’ own Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum singer/songwriter/producer Bruno Mars. The full album will be available in shops and online from 7 November prior to the film release of The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 which comes to cinemas nationwide on 18 November.

In addition to “It Will Rain,” the collection also includes brand new music from Christina Perri, The Joy Formidable and an exclusive track from Hard-Fi is available on the Deluxe edition. Chop Shop Music Supervision owner Alexandra Patsavas (Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl) returns as the Breaking Dawn soundtrack album Producer/Music Supervisor who worked closely with the film’s director Bill Condon in compiling the tracklisting.  Paul Katz of Eye2Ear Music serves as both the producer of the album as well as Summit’s point person on film-related music and soundtracks.

Released in November of 2008, Twilight - Original Motion Picture Soundtrack was a Top 10 hit in the UK Compilation charts and topped the US Billboard 200 chart upon its release, marking the largest debut for an Atlantic Records soundtrack since tracking sales began in 1991. In addition, The Twilight Saga: New Moon – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse – Original Motion Picture Soundtrack both peaked at #1 in the UK Compilation charts. Combined, all three soundtracks have sold more than 7.5 million copies worldwide.

The next chapter of The Twilight Saga will be released as two separate films with the first of the two - The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Part 1 - slated for release in cinemas on 18 November, 2011 and the second coming to cinemas on 16 November, 2012.  Academy Award® winner Bill Condon directed both films starring Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. The project, based on the fourth novel in author Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series, was written for the screen by Melissa Rosenberg with Wyck Godfrey, Karen Rosenfelt and Stephenie Meyer producing.  The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn illuminates the secrets and mysteries of this spellbinding romantic epic that has entranced millions.
