Avril Lavigne: 'Music brought me a husband'

Pop-rocker Avril Lavigne has revealed that she will be eternally grateful for music because it is the thing that brought her and now husband Chad Kroeger together.

During an interview with MTV News, the 'What The Hell' songstress explained that heading into the studio with the Nickelback was a very random thing, but it was what caused them to fall in love so she has her career path to thank for the romance:

"So working with Chad was awesome because I found a husband and that was the best thing that came out of the experience..."

"No, we had a great time. We really just celebrated music together and we both love writing and creating; it's non-stop. Even though the record's done now and we recorded it, like, we're always around the house coming up with new ideas and concepts. It's really inspiring."

Meanwhile, Lavigne has been promoting her upcoming new single on Twitter this morning (October 9) and revealed that it is a collaboration with Kroeger called 'Let Me Go': "'Let Me Go' will be on my new, self-titled album on Nov 5th, but you can buy it on @iTunesMusic starting Oct 15th!!"
