The singer has five nominations, including one for best female R&B artist and two in the video of the year category for If I Were A Boy and Single Ladies.

Organisers also confirmed the 27-year-old would be attending the ceremony with her husband, rapper Jay-Z.

Oscar-winning actor and singer Jamie Foxx will host the show on 28 June from the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles.

Rapper TI also has five nods, while Lil Wayne, T-Pain and Keri Hilson have four each.

British star MIA has two nominations - for best female hip-hop artist and best new artist.

Kanye West, Maxwell, Young Jeezy, Ne-Yo and Soulja Boy will also be performing at the show.

Last year, West took home awards for best male hip-hop artist and best collaboration for Good Life, featuring T-Pain.

Beyonce is ranked No.4 spot in the rich list.

This year she will bring in an estimated $87 million from publishing and music sales, touring and other performances, film work, her fashion collection and endorsement deals. That diversified portfolio helps her land at number 4 on the FORBES Celebrity 100 list, a ranking based on income and visibility.
