Beyonce to Release "Live At Roseland" DVD Monday, November 21 Exclusively at Walmart

NEW YORK, Oct. 26, 2011 -- When Beyonce took the stage back in August for four electrifying nights at the famed Roseland Ballroom, only 3,500 lucky fans per night, who bought those tickets in a record 22 seconds, were able to catch the intimate shows in the historic New York venue where she managed to turn a club into a coliseum.

Praised as "robust," "finely-tuned," and "compelling" by The New York Times, "4 Intimate Nights With Beyonce" at Roseland Ballroom, was a tour de force for the entertainer. It was the only time she would perform her new album, 4, almost completely and to a very limited audience. Backed by her all-female band, with an additional string section, the performances were punctuated with spirited stories detailing her journey before the album, 4, including her years before and with Destiny's Child.

On Monday, November 21, just in time for Thanksgiving, fans who longed to be at those shows can get up close and personal with Beyonce and experience for themselves the energy and magic that filled the Ballroom with the release of Live At Roseland, exclusively at Walmart. The 26-song live DVD brings the quaint setting turn stadium performances to your living room.

And on Tuesday, November 29, Live At Roseland: The Elements Of 4 deluxe package, a two-disc DVD, with the complete concert, bonus offstage footage, a 20-page booklet and a video anthology that includes seven videos from her latest album, 4, will be released worldwide. The concert documentary is filled with never-before seen footage that captures Beyonce's life from eager five-year-old music fan to a consummate entertainer who is in control of every inch of her life and career.

In advance of the DVD's release, the new video for "Party," included in the anthology on the deluxe DVD, will be on air on BET's 106 & Park tonight and online with VEVO and Beyonceonline.com. Directed by Beyonce and Alan Ferguson, "Party" is the sixth video released from "4" and features rapper J Cole with cameos from Solange and Kelly Rowland.

Live At Roseland was directed by Beyonce, Ed Burke and Anthony Green and executive produced by Beyonce for Parkwood Entertainment, in association with Columbia Records.

Beyoncé and other stars perform at the Michael Jackson tribute concert

Beyoncé and other stars paid tribute to the late Michael Jackson at the 'Michael Forever' tribute concert in Cardiff, Wales last night.

The megastar was introduced by Jackson's three children, Prince (14), Paris (13) and Michael Joseph Jr. "Blanket" (9), who all wore outfits that honoured their father's career.

Via video link, Beyoncé performed 'I Wanna Be Where You Are', a song that Jackson first sang in 1972.

This was the 'Countdown' singer's first performance since she announced her pregnancy in August and she said that the 'Billie Jean' singer inspired her and her band, Destiny's Child:

"Watching him I realised exactly what I wanted to be. He inspired me so much. As a matter of fact, the first song I performed with Destiny’s Child was a Jackson 5 song. It’s called ‘Where You Are.’ It’s the song we auditioned to get our record deal. It was the beginning of our future. I love you forever, Michael Jackson".

Other stars that paid tribute to the legend were Christina Aguilera, who performed Jackson's favourite song, 'Smile', by Charlie Chaplin, presenter Jamie Foxx, who performed 'Rock with You' and Leona Lewis, who sang 'I'll Be There'.

Smokey Robinson, Ne-Yo, JLS, Cee-Lo Green and Gladys Knight also performed.

The 'Thriller' singer's brothers, Tito, Marion and Jackie performed at the event and their sister, La Toya, came out of retirement to perform. His nephews, 3T, also performed. The Jackson matriarch, 81-year-old Katherine, sat in the audience.

However, his siblings Randy, Jermaine and Janet did not attend the event as they said it was wrong to hold the concert when Dr. Conrad Murray's trial was happening.

Watch the fan video below of Beyoncé performing 'I Wanna Be Where You Are' and an interview with La Toya Jackson after the 'Forever Michael' concert:

Beyoncé's video for 'Countdown' was "spontaneous"

Adria Petty, the director for Beyoncé's video for 'Countdown', said that the filming process was "evolving" and "spontaneous".

Petty, who is the daughter of rock legend, Tom Petty, told MTV that she and the now pregnant superstar worked through the themes of the video together:

"I brought Beyoncé a number of references and we picked some out together. Most were German modern-dance references, believe it or not. But it really evolved".

The director, who has worked with Regina Spektor and Duffy, said that Audrey Hepburn was one of the biggest influences for this beatnik-inspired video:

"The references were then dispersed to her creative team, and they interpreted them on the set in their own special way. Of course, one of the strongest wardrobe references was Audrey Hepburn in 'Funny Face' when she does the beatnik dance scene. I think a lot grew from there".

Check out the Beyoncé's video for 'Countdown' below and 'Us' by Regina Spektor, which Adria Petty also directed:
